| i've been in california for a week now, and tomorrow curtis and i are flying back to ohio. in california i hiked up the canyon for a relaxing afternoon in the creek. we did hollywood and in 'n out burger. nice people in azusa california; thanks for being a good host.

| i walked 24k on the beach two days ago. no shoes, no sun block. my feet hurt and i am burnt. things are better now after two days. today will be the last time i see the pacific ocean in a while (hopefully not too long, curtis). in 30 minutes i will board a bus where i will probably stand in the aisle for three hours. i need a book to read, please give me one.

| i went surfing with my cell phone and it does not work anymore.
tomorrow i will travel to costa rica, where i will be for three
weeks.

| i've been in florida for almost three weeks. i went to disney
world on sunday, and i enjoyed it. we have the rest of this
week to work on the house and then we fly to costa rica on
tuesday. i still can't surf. i love my family, and my long
lost friend curtis.
